How to print vertical barcodes

Support Q&A Knowledge BaseCategory: Barcode FontsHow to print vertical barcodes

With the ActiveX barcode control I could print a barcode with a vertical orientation, necessary on some form designs. There was an issue with the activeX controls used in Access on a 64-bit Windows10 computer that caused me to redesign my forms using the Code128 barcode font, except for one form that requires a vertical barcode orientation and the Code128 font doesn’t seem to allow me to do so. Is there some trick (not addressed in the user’s guide) or a special VBA code (other than “vertical = true”) that would allow me to print vertically?

Microsoft Access does not internally support rotated text in forms or reports. ActiveX is now considered a legacy product also. The only way I am aware of to rotate a barcode in Acess on a report is with the IDAutomation Access Barcode Generator. It allows orientations of 0, 90 and 270 degrees within a label. I do not believe it rotates barcodes on a form, only in reports.
