When using the Barcode ActiveX Control, you receive one of the following errors:
Microsoft Access has stopped working
Microsoft Excel has stopped working

Barcode ActiveX Controls use legacy COM technology and are not completely compatible with Access 2013 or greater and Excel 2016 or greater. If you cannot use an older version of Access or Excel, we can recommend using VBA with barcode fonts.

If that is not a good solution, we recommend the IDAutomation Native Barcode Generator for Excel or the Native Barcode Generator for Access, which do not rely on ActiveX, fonts or any other components to be installed.
